R1P2D6 - 232 (-0) Old Scale/233.6 (+1.6) New Scale

Well...this sucks.

Everything would have been fine if I would have shown the slightest loss today but no...not only did I not lose, I gained 1.6 on a technicality...since my new scale registers more than my old one.

All of the headache, feeling sluggish and not being able to concentrate on my schoolwork is just not worth not losing anything.

I think that I am going to stay on it one more day...if no loss tomorrow, I'm tossing this HCG diet out the window and chalking it up to another diet that just doesn't work for me. I'm not convinced that homeopathic HCG even works the same as HCG supposedly does anyway and not sure, if I was losing, if I would be losing fat or muscle.

I don't know...I tried this because I knew if I was seeing results...I would stick with it...but I'm not seeing anything.

  1. I have a horrible feeling you were ripped off :( Real HCG works, I assure you. I'm so sorry! *HUG*

  2. I'm sorry that it's been difficult! I wonder about the efficacy of your drops as well. When I do a round, I drop at least 3 or 4 pounds in the first 2 days, usually at least 8 - 10 in the first week. And I'm not hungry at all after the first few days. Almost everyone I know who has done it has a similar experience. Does your supplier give a money back guarantee? You should write to them, at least. Many people test the efficacy of their medication by dropping it on a pregnancy test - it should test positive, apparently (I've never done it.) Anyways, I really hope things get better for you. I hope you don't lose faith in the protocol, you might just need to get the right source.

  3. Oh - P.S. Try the old scale, if you still have it! I bought a new scale at the beginning of my first round, one of the super fancy ones that measure body fat composition, etc., and it fluctuated WILDLY in what I weighed in at from moment to moment, up to 5 pounds! Ridiculous. We returned it to the store and stuck with Old Reliable. It may only weigh in .5 increments, but at least it's consistent!

  4. No money back guarantee. No nothing. They claim it is real HCG, even on the phone.

But if it's not real HCG, then why am I not hungry? and how am I not losing anything on a 500cal diet?

  5. @ Bunpoh - On the old scale, I weighed the same as I have since the first day (no loss). And the new one, is just 1.6 different that the old one. It consistently says the same weight...every time I jump on it.

  6. OK what is a reliable source that I can order from and not have to wait 2 months for delivery?

I really would rather take the real stuff and do it right...and not even continue this round. And by the time I start the new round...I would be already at my new job and maybe done with my classes...and things would be less "messy".

    I don't know. I can't believe I wasted $40.

I'm glad my friend bought the other $40 worth or I would have been out $80...and it seems to be working for her...and she isn't even following the diet. And her daughter lost 35 pound in 30days with this same stuff.

  8. follow helderheid's link to where to buy hcg. There is a link to AllDayChemist, which is where we buy our hcg. it comes in about 2 weeks. Helderheid has all of the info you need to buy, how to mix, etc on her website. You can always ask her a question, and she will be more than happy to help you with any questions you might have.

It does sound like you don't have the real stuff. You shouldn't be hungry, and you should be losing 2+ lbs/day this first week. Please don't give up on the diet. IT WORKS. You just need to get the real stuff.

Hang in there, its worth it!!

  9. I would try the pregnancy test to make sure what you're using is NOT for reals, even if you are struggling if it's working for your friend, before throwing it out and trying again. And ANY cheat I do on HCG results in a gain, while my husband can seem to get away with a lot, so you may be the sensitive type who can't have the tiniest bit of extra fat or calories, like me. No lotions or makeup, either! Hope any of this advice helps, I know how frustrating it can be when the scale is going in the wrong direction.

  10. I knew right after I ordered it, that the HCG I ordered was probably not "real". The reason I went ahead and continued with it is that this brand worked for my friend's daughter and I have seen people have success with homeopathic, as well.

Just to clarify...I am NOT hungry while taking this "stuff" I have.

Also, it does NOT show up positive on a Dollar Tree pregnancy test, but then again...I saw a video where real HCG didn't show up on the Dollar Tree test either but it did show up on a more expensive pregnancy test.

I have stayed on protocol today and maybe...I will show a loss tomorrow. If not, I'll order the real stuff and stop this stuff I am taking

  11. Also, I'm thinking about doing the injections...aren't they once a day?

It seems the mixing is a bit simpler...I don't the idea of using vodka or colloidal silver for sublingual drops. And I guess with injections you don't waste any HCG.

Man, I'm gonna have to start all over with the research lol...

BTW thanks so much for the input...I feel like such a noobie.

  12. Maggie: are you drinking enough water? I did the oral drops...had great success (Oct to mid-Nov, 2009), dropped 25.3 lbs. & 36” overall (7” off my waist alone)...now, 6+ months later and eating a 1300 calorie diet with moderate exercise (at least 10,000 steps a day), I’m down a total of 45+ lbs. & 50” overall (10.25” at the waist).

Do know, I opted not to work any of the "whites" (sugar, bread, pasta, corn, butternut squash, candy, etc.) back into my diet; drink upwards of a gallon of water a day; drink a little champagne maybe once or twice a week and also keep away from sugars. Particularly hidden ones...I had to search hard for a Lemon Pepper spice that did not have sugar in it and that listed salt as anything but the first ingredient...not easy.

Also, the fruits should be no more than 6 oz. in weight (about medium sized) and 6 whole strawberries constitutes a "handful." I know, the protocol doesn't make that clear.

Long way of saying, don't quit...you are making a life change, not just going on a diet. I, too, have a blog...feel free to read/comment: http://JaneDohAndMore.blogspot.com

    Good luck, dear!

  13. I have been drinking 6-8 20oz water bottles a day.

Were you on homeopathic HCG or the real stuff that you mix yourself?

Yea, I just went and looked...my lemon pepper has sugar. Dangit!
